Noémie Cavaillé is a French law student and LLM Graduate with a Business Law Certificate from USC Gould School of Law. In Paris, Noemie completed a Bachelor and a first Master in Private Law, with a second Master in International Contracts. Her legal experience includes international contracts, equine law, and animal law. Noemie is happy to combine her passion for litigation and animals, and will sit for the California Bar exam in September 2020.
Hailey Gallo is a third-year law student at Southwestern Law School located in Los Angeles. Hailey is passionate about advocating for animal rights and welfare. Hailey is currently the Activities & Alumni Coordinator for Southwestern’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She also founded Western State College of Law’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund where the organization raised funds for local marine mammal care centers in Southern California.She volunteered at local rescues and care centers assisting in the rehabilitation of dogs, seals, and sea lions. Hailey’s dream is to become an Animal Rights attorney after completing law school. On her free time, Hailey enjoys going on hikes and runs with her dog, Mila.
Avani Kapur is a rising 2L at New York Law School. Prior to attending law school, Avani worked as a paralegal, spending much of her free time participating in animal rights activism and volunteering at a farm animal sanctuary. After learning more about the cruelty and exploitation faced by farm animals, wildlife, and animals used in research, she decided to combine her passion for animal rights with her desire to pursue a career in public interest law. In her free time she enjoys spending time in nature, veganizing her favorite childhood recipes, and most of all spending time with her dog, Milton.
